when you drive your ride,
and you ride it slow,
you know you need a destination.
but instead, you are given a direction.
you are shown, steered away,
so no destination given.
hoping for the real purpose forgotten.
the driver knows,
the passenger shows.
no answer given shows the unanswered.
the non promise.
the non risk taken.
the driver is driving,
slow.
slowly.
slower.
because the driver has forgotten the purpose of driving at the first place.

Sometimes people older than us think that they know what's best for us & force certain things on us...
If it is not something that we want or are passionate about, after a while, we lose the desire to carry on walking an imposed path.
You need to find your centre. You need to go soul searching or you'll end up living an unhappy & meaningless life/career.
