Teach For The Needs (TFTN)

Free tuition for those needed!

People asked me, why should I add another burden to my own worrisome load in school when I can get money out of tutoring? I just smile and said, 'Why not?'

True, I have no exact reason. During my years as a children, I always want to help my friends in their studies, even as early as primary years. I hate them copying my homework. I hate them for forcing me to give them my book or they'll do something to me. Worse, I had 3 different schools due to my parents' work so being the new student doesn't help.

I heard my dad complained about really weak students, how hard he tried to help them JUST WRITE THEIR NAMES. I heard my mum told me about how she helped those poor in her school.
These students are the ones who will be very thankful to the teachers because someone truly cared for them.

So now that I have the time, (some) money, and the needed force, why not?

Then, comes the question, 'Why Teach For The Needs? Why not doing it on your own?'

I have always picture myself to do free tutoring for those who cannot afford to join tuition due to financial problem. But when a friend of mine mentioned that he wanted to initiate a project that will support this, I'm thinking, 'Why not?'. Yes, it was spontaneous. I don't even think twice to say 'yes'.

Am I a very good teacher to be SO confident in doing this?

I never claim that I am good, but I know by just complaining and doing nothing is not good. So, there.
I might not the best, but I will try my best to cater those who need my help, those who want my help.

There will be people who will underestimate our projects. Yes, they are being cynical to us on how our project will not be consistent and how fast it will stop as how fast it started. But who are you people to judge when we are determined to make this happen? Your words wont bring us down. Really.

No, this is not to promote whatever I did. I just do what I can. But, if you really want to help too, you can click on the link below.

TEACH FOR THE NEEDS

You can see what are the things we did, and how you can be part of us. =) No, you wont get paid, but you will get your own kind of satisfaction by the end of the day. Believe me.

Oh, all teachers are welcome to do this at your own school, with your own selected students. But, for non-teachers, you can still help. How? Click the link above haha.

Any other question now? ;)
