Being a teacher is not a glamourous profession that one will be praised and looked upon by society. The mentality of thinking teaching profession is the last resort for not having any work is still there, and practiced by some, so why bother to deny, right? So they said.
I dont want to deny, even I am ashamed to admit I am a teacher. Just, for another reason. I am not good enough as a teacher. I should be better. At times when my kids refused to finish their work, or when they simply made me angry in any way possible, I feel like I failed as a teacher.
Why? Why should I feel so? I know I've tried my best. Heck, I even went all out in my classes. Maybe not hard enough.
I am still going to try. To be better. To be the best teacher I can be, at least in my own point of view.

I feel that the first thing you have to do as a teacher is detach emotionally. When the students do not have influence over your emotions, you can make better decisions.
Don't take their mistakes to hard & ESP DON'T BLAME YOURSELF FOR THEIR MISTAKES.
They choose for themselves. We do what we can from the role of a teacher.
You can be better. But what does better actually mean? More popular? Better results? Classroom control?
Realise that when you choose 1 you might have to sacrifice something that you are enjoying now.
All the best!
